It's 2025, and somehow the Motorola Razr from 2024 just became the most interesting phone of the year!
It's one of three Android phones that now works with Clicks!
For a quick refresher, Clicks for iPhone is a physical keyboard for your iPhone (which we are quite fond of). Today, the company just announced support for its first Android devices:
- Google Pixel 9/Pro
- Samsung Galaxy S25
- Motorola Razr
Does the Clicks Keyboard work for Android phones?
With the news dropping Feb 25th in a CrackBerry post penned by Clicks co-founder CrackBerry Kevin, Android users will now have the option to become part of the Clicks clique.
The Pixel 9/9 Pro, Samsung Galaxy S25, and Motorola Razr/Razr+ are the first Android phones to be announced. In this post, CBK does say that Galaxy Ultra and Pixel Pro users should let them know if they're interested in a physical keyboard.
There's so much variety in Android phones, it would be near impossible to design a keyboard case that would fit every model from recent years, but I think this is a strong lineup for Android launch (I'll be putting in an order for the Pixel version).
What's a RazrBerry?
Do you like weird phones? There used to be a time when phones tried hard to be different from their competition. But in past years, designs have become very similar.
For people who are fans of weird phones, the "RazrBerry" could be an interesting pick. Pairing the new Clicks keyboard with a Razr creates a BlackBerry-like experience using the phone's folded outer display. For more real estate, you can flip open the Razer to its full size.
Owning a Razr is something that I haven't done since about 2008. But after a quick browse through Amazon, and seeing they're on sale for a few-hundred off, I'm not trying to show major restraint.
Motorola Razr+
If the sight of a Motorola Razr with the new Clicks keyboard reminds you of your BlackBerry glory days, the good news is the Razr+ is on a great sale right now at Amazon. The Clicks keyboard for Razr comes out end of May. So this summer you could have your very own RazrBerry!
I already have many, many phones. But seeing the Clicks keyboard combined with a Razr is making me feel all kinds of BlackBerry nostalgia.
Clicks for Android availability
The Clicks Android models are all up for pre-order right now. Each model has a black version (they call it Onyx) and a more colourful version.
The company is offering a discount for early adopters to save off the full retail price.
The Pixel version of the cases ship at the end of April. The Razr versions ship at the end of May. And the S25 versions ship at the end of June.
