The new iMacs are here in Canada! And we have some new colours!

On October 28th, Apple announced the availability of the latest iteration of the iMac. This version will have the latest M4 processor, Apple Intelligence, and will come in some new colour offerings.

If you're unfamiliar, the iMac is Apple's all-in-one home computer solution.

It has a large 24-inch display, built in webcam, separate mouse keyboard, and trackpad accessories, and comes in a variety of fun colours.

The 2024 model of the iMac looks quite similar to the last two generations of this computer. The 2021 iMac saw a redesigned style that carries through to this day. The original launched with the M1 processor and in late 2023 the iMac line was updated M3 chip, but not much else was changed.

Still stylish, but with new shades!

In 2024 the most notable change outside of Apple Intelligence (AI features) and the performance enhancements through the more efficient and powerful M4 chip will be the new colour options.

While the overall array of blues, green, yellow etc continue, the tones of the 2024 models come in different shades. Where as the previous two iMac models were very saturated and metallic on the back with a more muted tone on the front, Apple has opted for slightly different hues (most notable on the green version of the new iMac).

Like the previous models, the iMacs will come with a colour matched mouse and keyboard. Optionally you can add a colour-matched trackpad at the time of purchase.

Unlike past generations ALL colours are available for all configurations (previously you had to spec up from the base model to unlock all the different shades).
